Sunshine: It Exists! In a Far Off Land Called Summer.
I don't know if you all remember, but sometimes it is sunny and warm out. I know, hard to believe during these dreary winter months full of cold temperatures and rainstorms. I recently found some old photos from summer time that I forgot all about. So here is the proof that sunshine actually does exist. Those warm days you remember are not some cold-induced fever dream. They aren't the product of an overly whimsical mind. No, they exist, in a far off land called Summer.
These pictures are from Magnuson Park, a park in Seattle on Lake Washington. It is a perfect spot to enjoy a sunny day. That is just what David and I did, on one of the last truly warm days of summer, 2014.
Magnuson is a perfect place to enjoy lapping lake water, stretches of grassy land perfect for lounging, and sun-dappled shady spots created from trees bursting with green leaves.
Another thing you may have forgotten actually exists: flowers!
Well, now that I have indulged in a little summer reminiscing, it is time to get back to winter, which means streaming videos, soup and cuddling with my cats.
