Train Cars and Creatures

I got stuck on my way to work waiting for a train to slowly lumber by.

In the gaps between train cars I saw the lights flickering and glowing in the rain shined pavement.

Sometimes the train cars weren't trains at all, but creatures, hungering for existence.

The train rattled off in the distance. I dashed across the railroad tracks and made it in to work just in time.
