Ruby Travels Through The Desert on the Snake

Ruby and the snake make an auspicious pair. Together they will surely make it through the miles of sand and blistering sun. Ruby is optimistic and determined while the snake's scaled body makes desert travel more bearable. For days they have traveled through a land of only sun rays and golden sand, but finally they are seeing signs of life. Here and there, Ruby sees cactus homes. She thinks that, if she wanted, she could go knock on one of those cactus doors and a real person would answer. Maybe they would even invite her in where she would be offered a glass of ice tea. But Ruby and the snake must forge on to finish their expedition. Everything in life must be done in a timely manner and the snake and Ruby are eager to comply.
