Helen has never been the type to demure in any situation. When she was a child, she was the type of kid that parents these days adorn with backpacks with discreet leashes attached. Helen finds the world to be the most interesting of places and her immense curiosity about the everything leads her to find constant adventures. One day while wandering the hills near her house, she saw in the distance a pack of wandering monsters. Most peoples first instinct would be to hide, or run the other direction. Helen saw this as maybe her only opportunity to actually travel with monsters! She stuck out her thumb and hoped that one of them would stop and let her ride upon it's back.
