Kathleen and Louisa are book worms. Where ever they may go, they bring a book with them. Sometimes they are distracted from real life by the make believe lives they are immersed in. The two women became friends when they were younger because of their mutual love of reading. The started a book club, although there are only two members currently in the club. They go on field trips together just to seek out new and interesting spots to read. They went to the forest and found the most wonderful tree to climb and spent hours merrily reading in the branches of the tree. They seek out meadows full of wildflowers and butterflies to lay down in with a good book while the sun warms their skin. They've read on rooftops and in basements, outdoors when the day was rainy and indoors when the sun was bright. One day, they decided to go to the ocean to read in the comfort of the shore. When they saw two squids on shore, their first thought was not, "oh my goodness! Look at those amazing squids!" Instead they simultaneously thought 'Why look at that! Two perfect reading spots!"
