Bethany and Olivia are sisters who live in the small cottage in the country. They spent their childhood traveling with their mother who was a stage actress. They went from city to city and country to country with their glamorous, globe-trotting mother. It was an exciting childhood for the two sisters and they appreciated being able to see so much of such an amazing world. Their mother hoped to see her two daughters follow in her footsteps. She believed her girls to have the charm and wit needed to be great actresses. But once the two sisters grew up, they longed for the stationary life they never had as kids. They wanted a place of their own where they could have ordinary days filled with animals, tea and books. Although, they discovered that no one can have a completely ordinary life. In an attempt to search for something mundane, they ended up befriending two very large animals that are normally very small. When they tell their mother by phone of their animal friends, she laughs believing her daughters tendency to embellish just proves further that they should be on stage.
