Susan Does Not Need Wool to Knit a Scarf Because She Is Happy To Use The Clouds As Her Yarn

Here is my illustration for this weeks Illustration Friday challenge. The theme is 'Wool.' I'm a little late this week since in a couple of hours there will be a new theme, but sometimes it is satisfying to finish something in the nick of time!

Susan loves to knit. She gives a hand knitted scarf to everyone she meets. Sometimes casual acquaintance are taken a back to receive such a beautiful handmade gift from Susan. But a scarf knitted by Susan inevitably becomes the new owners favorite. Her little dog Pip has a different colored scarf for everyday of the week. Susan's own wardrobe consists mainly of hand knitted sweaters and also one pair of hand knitted pants. Usually Susan uses the finest wool yarn to knit her creations. But she sometimes gets tired of yarn provided at the local yarn shop. One day while visiting the park with her sister Sharon, she discovered she didn't need to use yarn. She could instead use the clouds in the sky for her knitting projects. Cloud yarn is like no other. It is soft and ethereal and it always smells like mountain tops. Sharon has always been proud of her sisters talent with knitting. Once Sharon tried to knit a scarf herself but ended up with a lumpy, tangled mess. But now Sharon is the proud wearer of the first ever cloud scarf.
