Frances Learns to Float

It had taken quite a bit of practice, but Frances was finally harnessing her ability to float.

She had first realized she may be in possession of this quite unique talent while reading on her bed. She was deeply engulfed in the narrative of a book as the intrepid detective was about to reveal who the no-good scoundrel was! That’s when she felt something fuzzy flicking her back. It was her cat’s tail, somehow under her! She looked down and saw she was about an inch above her bed! As soon as she notice, she plopped back down on her bed. Her cat glared at her for having the nerve to smoosh the tip of his tale.

Ever since this day, Frances practiced and practiced floating. Finally she was starting to understand how to use her floating ability. She hoped floating would just be the first step into an even greater adventure: learning to fly!
